AR-15/M16 – Armorer’s Tool Kit – Professional Build & Repair – Wheeler

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.

The Wheeler Delta Series AR Armorer’s Professional Kit is a full AR-15/M16 build and repair tool kit packed into a custom fitted carrying case. It includes the core tools needed for upper assembly, lower assembly, torque work, cleaning, maintenance, sight work, bore guiding, and general AR bench jobs.

This is the kit for the guy who wants to build or maintain ARs without piecing together tools one pain-in-the-wallet order at a time. It is not cheap, but neither is buggering parts with the wrong tool and pretending “battle worn” was the plan.

Fitment

  • Built for AR-15 and M16 platform build, repair, and maintenance work.
  • Includes tools for receiver work, barrel nut / castle nut style tasks, torque work, pin installation, front sight adjustment, cleaning, and general maintenance.
  • Individual tool compatibility should still be verified for proprietary receivers, handguards, barrel nuts, muzzle devices, and specialty AR-pattern parts.

Does NOT Fit

  • Not guaranteed for every proprietary AR-pattern receiver, barrel nut, or specialty handguard system.
  • Not a firearm parts kit. This is a tool kit.
  • Not a substitute for proper torque specs, manufacturer instructions, or armorer-level knowledge.

What It Does

  • Provides the main tools needed for AR-15 building, repair, and maintenance.
  • Supports upper receiver work with vise and alignment tools.
  • Supports lower receiver assembly with pivot pin and roll pin installation tools.
  • Includes cleaning tools for bore, chamber, bolt carrier, magazine, upper receiver, and general detail work.
  • Stores the full tool set in a custom fitted carrying case.

Why It’s Worth It

This kit makes sense for AR builders, shops, armorers, and serious home bench setups. Having the right tools does not make someone a gunsmith overnight, but it does stop them from attacking an AR with pliers and false confidence. That alone is worth something.

  • Use the correct tool for the correct job. Close enough is how parts get scarred.
  • Function check any firearm after assembly, repair, or maintenance.
  • Critical firearm work should be checked by a qualified armorer or gunsmith when needed.

Verify Before You Buy

  • Verify this kit covers the AR-15 / M16 work you plan to perform.
  • Verify proprietary parts, rails, barrel nuts, and receivers before assuming tool compatibility.
  • Verify whether you need this full professional kit or only a smaller specific tool.
  • Do not use tools as a substitute for proper build knowledge, torque specs, and safety checks.
