The Magpul PMAG 40 AR/M4 GEN M3 is a 40-round polymer magazine for AR-15/M4 pattern rifles chambered in 5.56 NATO or .223 Remington. It gives the shooter 10 extra rounds over the standard 30-round format without jumping all the way to drum-mag bulk.
This one is for buyers who want more capacity while still keeping a familiar rifle-magazine footprint. It is not subtle, but it is simpler than a drum and easier to live with for a lot of people.
