Smart-Fit Vise Block for Double-Stack Magwell Pistols (9mm/.357/.40)

This expandable vise block creates a rock-solid, hands-free working platform by locking into the pistol’s magwell with an internal expanding mechanism. Instead of the sloppy wobble you get from traditional “one-size” blocks, this design uses an adjustment knob to expand for a tight internal fit—so the firearm stays stable while you work.

What it’s for / why it matters: Stable clamping means safer, cleaner work. Whether you’re cleaning, inspecting, swapping small parts, or doing detailed bench tasks, a secure hold reduces slips, scratches, and frustration. It’s built around Glock-pattern double-stack magwells and is also useful for Glock-mag-fed AR9/PCC platforms that share the same magwell geometry.

What’s included:

  • Expandable magwell vise block with adjustment knob (for a custom, tight fit)
  • Knurled outer gripping surfaces to hold securely in vise jaws
  • Magazine lock relief groove for smooth insertion/removal
  • AR9 Pivot Lock accessory (helps hold an AR9/PCC upper open for easier chamber/barrel access when applicable)

Key features & specs:

  • Expandable fit: adjustment knob expands the block inside the magwell to eliminate wobble
  • Stable clamping: designed to clamp securely in standard bench vise jaws
  • Grip: knurled exterior improves bite and stability in the vise
  • Designed for: Glock-pattern double-stack magwells in 9mm, .357 SIG, and .40 S&W

Fitment

  • Fits Glock-pattern double-stack magwells chambered in 9mm, .357 SIG, and .40 S&W.
  • Also works with many Glock-mag-fed AR9/PCC platforms that use Glock-style double-stack magwells.

Does NOT fit

  • Single-stack Glock-pattern magwells (example: slimline/single-stack families).
  • Large-frame Glock-pattern magwells in 10mm/.45 (different geometry).
  • Non–Glock-pattern magwells or platforms that do not use Glock-style double-stack magazines.

Tools needed

  • Bench vise (standard jaws).

Install notes

  • Unload the firearm completely and remove the magazine before installing the block.
  • Insert the block into the magwell, then turn the adjustment knob until snug—tight enough to remove play, not so tight you’re forcing it.
  • Clamp the block (not the firearm) in the vise. This keeps pressure controlled and prevents finish damage.
  • When removing, back off the knob before pulling the block out to avoid unnecessary friction.
