ALG Defense — AR-15 Combat Trigger 6 lb Pull (ACT)
The ALG ACT (Advanced Combat Trigger) is built for AR-15 style rifles. It’s a smoother, cleaner upgrade over many factory mil-spec triggers while keeping a practical 6 lb pull for real-world use.
Fitment
- Fits most AR-15 pattern lower receivers that use a standard AR trigger pocket and standard trigger/hammer pins.
Assumption (verify to prevent returns): Verify your lower is a standard AR-15 pattern lower (not a proprietary design) and does not require a specialized trigger or non-standard pin system.
Does NOT fit
- Does not fit AK-pattern rifles.
- May not fit proprietary receivers that use a non-standard trigger pocket or specialized pin geometry.
Tools needed
- Punch set
- Small hammer/mallet
- Needle-nose pliers (optional)
- Bench block or stable work surface (recommended)
Install notes
- Confirm the rifle is unloaded and safe before starting.
- After install, perform a full function check: safety on/off, trigger reset, and proper hammer engagement.
- If anything feels off, stop and re-check spring orientation and pin seating before live fire.
