AR-15 – Impact Trigger – 3-4 lb Break – Curved or Straight Shoe
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.
Timney Triggers built the Impact AR for shooters who want a real trigger upgrade without paying boutique-trigger money. This is a single-stage, drop-in cassette-style trigger for mil-spec AR-15 lowers, offered here in either a curved shoe or straight shoe. It is factory set, non-adjustable, and built to deliver a clean break in the 3 to 4 pound range.
Available options are organized below under Variants.
Fitment
Fits mil-spec AR-15 lowers. Timney states the Impact AR is compatible with mil-spec AR-15 lowers and uses the rifle’s original hammer and trigger pins.
Does NOT fit
Does not fit AR-10, S&W 15-22, or 7.62x39 AR builds. Verify your lower is a true mil-spec AR-15 before ordering. This is not a universal-fit trigger for every rifle that looks vaguely AR-ish.
What it does
This trigger gives your AR-15 a cleaner, lighter-feeling break than a typical stock trigger. Timney rates it at 3 to 4 pounds, and it is a single-stage, non-adjustable, 100% drop-in design meant to improve consistency and feel without extra tuning.
Why it’s worth it
If you want better than mil-spec without paying Calvin Elite money, this is the lane. The Impact AR is Timney’s more budget-conscious AR trigger, but it still gets you a cleaner break, simpler install, and a better shooting experience than a gritty factory setup. In plain English: less mush, less nonsense, more control.

Install notes
This is a function-critical firearm component. Install carefully, verify safe operation, and perform full function checks before live fire. Drop-in is convenient. “It clicked” is not a proper safety inspection.
Verify before you buy
Verify your rifle uses a mil-spec AR-15 lower. Verify whether you want the curved or straight shoe before ordering. If your build is AR-10, S&W 15-22, or 7.62x39, this is not the correct trigger.
⚠ Install & Compatibility Disclaimer
Installation should be performed by a qualified armorer or gunsmith. Improper installation, modification, or use may affect firearm safety and reliability. Buyer is responsible for verifying compatibility, performing proper function testing, and ensuring safe operation.
