Fixed Torque Limiter (Choose in-lb)

This is the “stop guessing” tool for precision fasteners. Each variant is a fixed inch-pound torque limiter that delivers repeatable torque using a click-style overload clutch. When it hits the set value, it signals you to stop—so you don’t strip screws, deform mounts, or turn a clean install into a repair job.

What it’s for / why it matters: Most install failures aren’t bad parts—they’re bad torque. Low torque specs exist for a reason: small fasteners and aluminum components don’t tolerate caveman hands. A fixed limiter keeps your torque consistent across builds and prevents “one more snug” from becoming “one more broken screw.”

Variant options (Torque Setting):

  • 7 in-lb
  • 10 in-lb
  • 12 in-lb
  • 15 in-lb
  • 18 in-lb
  • 20 in-lb
  • 25 in-lb
  • 30 in-lb
  • 35 in-lb
  • 50 in-lb
  • 65 in-lb
  • 80 in-lb
  • 100 in-lb

What’s included:

  • One fixed torque limiter in the torque setting you select (single unit)

Key features & specs:

  • Fixed preset torque: choose your inch-pound value from the variant list above
  • Click-style overload clutch: tactile feedback when the set torque is reached
  • Consistency: repeatable torque application for better installs and fewer damaged fasteners
  • Driver interface: compatible with 1/4" hex drivers/handles and standard 1/4" bits
  • Use case sweet spot: optics mounting, rings/bases, accessory hardware, small fasteners where correct torque matters

Fitment

  • Works with any manual handle/driver that accepts 1/4" hex bits.
  • Use wherever a manufacturer specifies inch-pound torque for a fastener.

Tools needed

  • Manual 1/4" hex driver/handle (recommended)
  • Correct bit type/size for your screw head

Install notes

  • Confirm the correct torque spec from the optic/mount/accessory manufacturer before tightening.
  • Start screws by hand first to avoid cross-threading, then torque to final spec.
  • When the limiter clicks, stop. Extra turns after the click defeat the whole purpose.
  • Use a bit that fully fits the screw head to prevent cam-out and chewed-up screws.
