Glock 19/19X/45 Gen 5 – Alpha Pack Complete Spring Kit – Connector Choice – Tuning Kit
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.
The IronKells Armory Alpha Pack Complete Spring Kit with Ghost Inc.® Connector Choice is built for Glock 19, Glock 19X, and Glock 45 Gen 5 9mm pistols when you want more control over recoil feel, slide speed, trigger feel, reset, and connector behavior.
This kit uses IronKells Armory performance springs with your choice of either the Ghost Angel 3.0 connector or the Ghost Avenger 3.5 connector. The springs help tune how the gun cycles and resets. The connector changes trigger feel and break character. Together, this is the deeper tuning pack for folks who want control instead of guessing and praying to the parts-bin gods.
Variants / Connector Choice
- Ghost Angel 3.0 Connector: Lighter, smoother-feeling connector option for a more aggressive trigger-feel tune.
- Ghost Avenger 3.5 Connector: Polished 3.5-style connector with a cleaner feel than stock while staying less aggressive than the Angel option.
Fitment
- Fits Glock 19 Gen 5 9mm.
- Fits Glock 19X Gen 5 9mm.
- Fits Glock 45 Gen 5 9mm.
- Recoil springs are intended for Glock 19/19X/45 Gen 5 compact-frame recoil spring tuning setups.
- Ghost Angel 3.0 connector is for compatible Glock Gen 1–5 and X models.
- Ghost Avenger 3.5 connector is for compatible Glock Gen 1–6 drop-in connector applications.
- Gen 5 25% extra power trigger return spring is for Gen 5/6 Glock pistols and Glock 42/43/43X/48-style trigger housing applications.
- Gen 1–4 6 lb trigger return spring is included for Gen 1–4 Glock trigger return spring setups, not for the Gen 5 trigger housing.
- Reduced power safety plunger spring is used for smoothing trigger press feel in standard Glock-style safety plunger systems.
Does NOT Fit
- Does not fit Glock 17 or Glock 34 recoil spring systems.
- Does not fit Glock 26, 43, 43X, 48, or other subcompact/slimline recoil systems.
- Does not fit Gen 1–4 Glock 19 recoil systems unless you are using a compatible aftermarket guide rod/spring setup made for that configuration.
- The Gen 1–4 6 lb trigger return spring does not replace the Gen 5 25% extra power trigger return spring.
- The Gen 5 25% extra power trigger return spring does not replace the older Gen 1–4 coil trigger return spring.
- Not recommended as a blind “drop it in and forget it” carry/duty setup. Tuned spring and connector systems need proper function testing and live-fire verification with the exact ammo you plan to run.
Setup Guide / Compatibility Breakdown
| Recoil Springs — 13 lb and 15 lb | Controls slide speed, cycling behavior, recoil feel, compact-frame Gen 5 tuning, and ammo-specific setups. |
| Striker Springs — 4 lb, 4.5 lb, and 6 lb | Affects trigger feel and primer ignition force. |
| Gen 5 Trigger Return Spring — 25% Extra-Power Style | Helps reset feel and trigger return authority in Gen 5-style systems. |
| Gen 1–4 Trigger Return Spring — 6 lb Style | Included for bench flexibility with older Gen 1–4 trigger spring systems. |
| Safety Plunger Spring — Reduced-Power Style | Helps smooth the trigger press through the firing pin safety plunger movement. |
| Ghost Connector Choice — Angel 3.0 or Avenger 3.5 | Changes trigger break character, overall pull feel, and connector behavior. |
Note: Recoil and trigger tuning depend on the full setup, including ammo pressure, compensator design, slide mass, optic weight, striker condition, connector geometry, trigger housing, lubrication, and break-in. Live-fire testing is mandatory.
Forge Files Starting Point
On Glock 19/19X/45 Gen 5 setups, the 15 lb recoil spring is the safer starting point for hotter ammo or carry-style testing. The 13 lb recoil spring is better suited for softer range ammo, faster shooting, and lighter cycling setups. Tune recoil first. If slide speed is wrong, the rest of the gun starts telling lies.
What It Does
This kit lets you tune the major spring and connector forces that affect slide speed, recoil feel, trigger weight, ignition force, trigger break, and reset. The recoil springs control how fast the slide cycles. The striker springs adjust trigger feel and primer ignition force. The Gen 5 trigger return spring helps reset feel in Gen 5-style trigger systems. The reduced-power safety plunger spring smooths the trigger press. The Ghost connector choice lets you pick the trigger character you want.
Why It’s Worth It
The standard Alpha Pack already gives you control over recoil, striker force, reset, and plunger feel. This connector version goes one step further by adding the part that changes how the trigger break feels. The Angel 3.0 is the lighter, smoother-feeling connector option. The Avenger 3.5 is the cleaner 3.5-style connector option for a smoother and lighter feel than stock.

Install Notes
- Tune one system at a time.
- Start with the recoil spring, test function, then move into striker spring, trigger return spring, plunger spring, and connector tuning.
- Do not throw every light part in at once and then act shocked when the pistol starts acting like it needs counseling.
- Always test with the exact ammo you plan to run.
Striker Spring Guidance
- The 4.5 lb spring is usually the best balance of smoother feel and practical reliability.
- The 6 lb spring favors stronger ignition.
- The 4 lb spring should be treated as a range/competition tuning spring and tested hard before trusting it.
Connector Guidance
- Choose the Angel 3.0 if you want the lighter, smoother-feeling connector option.
- Choose the Avenger 3.5 if you want a polished 3.5-style connector with a cleaner feel than stock while staying less aggressive than the Angel option.
Verify Before You Buy
- Verify that your pistol is a Glock 19 Gen 5, Glock 19X Gen 5, or Glock 45 Gen 5 before ordering.
- The recoil springs are the fitment-critical part of this kit.
- Compact-frame Gen 5 recoil systems are not the same as full-size, subcompact, or slimline Glock recoil systems.
- Verify which connector option you want before checkout.
- After installation, function test the firearm unloaded, then live-fire test with your actual ammo before carrying, competing, or relying on the setup.
