ALG Defense — Forged QD Sling Swivel (Desert Dirt Color)
This is a forged, push-button QD (Quick Detach) sling swivel built to be lightweight but still tough. If you run QD cups on your rifle, this is the clean “click in, click out” solution that doesn’t feel like cheap hardware-store mystery metal.
Fitment
- Fits standard push-button QD swivel cups/sockets (the common QD cups found on stocks, receiver end plates, handguards, and QD mounts).
- Designed to accept slings up to 1" wide.
Does NOT fit
- Does not work with HK hooks, paraclips, or fixed loop-only sling mounts unless those mounts also have a QD cup.
- Will not attach directly to M-LOK/KeyMod slots unless you install a QD cup mount first.
- Not ideal for slings wider than 1" (verify sling webbing width before ordering).
Install notes
- Attach: press the button, insert fully into the QD cup, release the button, then tug hard to confirm it’s locked.
- Detach: press the button and pull straight out—don’t twist it like you’re opening a pickle jar.
- Keep your QD cup clean: sand/grit inside the socket is what makes QD setups feel “sticky” over time.
- Strength depends on the socket: steel QD cups are generally the most durable choice for hard-use builds.
