The Wheeler Professional Laser Bore Sighter gives you a fast way to get a rifle, shotgun, or handgun optic roughly aligned with the bore before heading to live fire. Instead of inserting an arbor into the barrel, the unit attaches magnetically to the muzzle.
A machined aluminum housing with protective rubber over-molding surrounds the laser assembly, while Wheeler factory-calibrates and secures the laser module for consistent bore-to-optic alignment. Choose the Red or Green laser model based on your visibility preference.
This is a bore-sighting tool—not a replacement for live-fire zeroing. Use it to get on paper, remove it from the firearm, then confirm and finish your zero with live ammunition.
Choose Your Laser
- Red Laser: Wheeler model 580022.
- Green Laser: Wheeler model 589922. Green light is generally easier for the human eye to pick up in brighter ambient conditions.
Fitment
- Designed for use with a wide variety of rifles, shotguns, and handguns.
- Attaches magnetically to the firearm's muzzle rather than inserting into the bore.
- Requires a muzzle or exposed barrel surface that will accept the magnetic mount.
- For best alignment, the mounting surface needs to allow the bore sighter to sit square and centered with the bore.

- Non-magnetic aluminum or other non-ferrous muzzle surfaces where the magnet cannot securely attach.
- Muzzle-device configurations that prevent the bore sighter from sitting square and centered with the bore.
