AK-47 – Flash Suppressing Compensator – 7.62x39 / 5.45x39 – M14x1 LH
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.
Primary Weapons Systems makes the FSC 47 MOD 2 as a flash suppressing compensator for AK-pattern rifles using M14x1 left-hand threads. It is built from 4140 steel with PWS’s FNC LIFE HD treatment and is designed to reduce recoil and muzzle movement while still giving enough flash suppression to keep the blast from turning your sight picture into a fireworks show.
This is an AK muzzle device card, not a generic “might fit something” gadget. Thread pitch matters. Caliber matters. Buying muzzle parts on vibes is how grown men create return requests.
Fitment
- Fits AK-pattern barrels threaded M14x1 LH
- Compatible with 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 applications per PWS specs
Does NOT fit
- Does not fit 1/2x28 AR-15 barrels
- Does not fit barrels without M14x1 LH threads
What it does
This device combines compensator behavior with some flash suppression, helping the shooter manage recoil and muzzle rise while keeping flash out of the optic and line of sight better than many brakes.
Why it’s worth it
The PWS FSC line has a good reputation because it hits a useful middle ground: better control than a plain flash hider, less obnoxious than some aggressive brakes, and purpose-built for real use instead of internet chest thumping.

Verify your barrel is threaded M14x1 LH. Do not buy this for 1/2x28 AR barrels just because the picture looked mean.
