The Midwest Industries Alpha Side Folding Stock is a multi-position folding stock built for firearms that already have a 1913 rear stock adapter or interface. This parent card covers the Black, Flat Dark Earth, and Olive Drab Green versions. Available options are organized below under Variants.
This is not a direct bolt-on for random AK rear trunnions. It is for AKs and other firearms already running a 1913 rear mount. If that adapter is not present, this stock is not the answer no matter how good it looks in the picture.
Fitment
- Fits firearms that include a 1913 rail adapter / stock interface

Does NOT fit
- Standard AK rear trunnions without a 1913 adapter
- Fixed-stock receivers that have not been converted to a 1913 rear interface
What it does
This stock gives the rifle a folding rear support with adjustable geometry, solid lockup, and a more modern setup than a lot of factory AK furniture. It shortens storage length when folded and adds a cleaner modular rear end when deployed.
Why it’s worth it
The Alpha folder makes sense for shooters who want a real modern stock instead of a clunky adapter chain. It gives you a stronger folding mechanism, multiple-position adjustment, sling attachment capability, and a cleaner end result for a serious build.
