AR-15 – Billet Dust Cover – Carbon Fiber – Color
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.
The Fortis Billet Dust Cover – Carbon Fiber is a billet aluminum ejection port cover upgrade for mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers. It is built for .223/5.56 compatible AR-15 setups and gives the rifle a cleaner, more custom look without going into goofy parts-bin nonsense.
Available options are organized below under Variants. Verified colors in this batch are Black, Flat Dark Earth, Gold, Gray, and Red.
Fitment
- Fits mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers
- Built for .223/5.56 compatible AR-15 builds
Does NOT fit
- Do not assume fitment for AR-10 or non-mil-spec upper receivers
What it does
This replaces the factory dust cover with a billet aluminum version that adds a more refined look while still doing the same basic job—helping keep debris out of the action when the rifle is closed up.
Why it’s worth it
This is a cosmetic-and-function upgrade for AR builders who actually care what the rifle looks like when it’s done. It is simple, sharp, and easy to understand. The bad news is the margin is uglier than a Monday morning if you try to match normal market pricing exactly.

Install notes
This is a simple AR upper accessory install, but it still needs to be installed correctly with the proper dust cover hardware and spring orientation. If you are building from scratch, do not rush the little stuff—the little stuff is what makes ARs annoying when people half-do it.
Verify before you buy
Verify your upper is a mil-spec AR-15 upper and not an AR-10 or oddball proprietary setup before you order.
