AR-15 – Component Trigger – Single Stage
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.
The CMC Triggers AR-15 Component Trigger is a single-stage small-pin AR trigger offered in flat and combat curved shoe options with multiple pull weights. Unlike CMC’s drop-in cassette triggers, this is a component-style trigger setup. Available options are organized below under Variants.
Fitment
- Fits compatible AR-15 small-pin lower receivers.
- Small-pin AR trigger fitment.
- Component-style trigger, not a cassette drop-in trigger.
Does NOT fit
- Does not fit large-pin receivers.
- Not the same installation style as a self-contained drop-in CMC trigger cassette.
- Not for AR-10 unless separately verified for that exact use.
What it does
This trigger replaces the standard AR-15 fire control components with a CMC single-stage component trigger. It gives you CMC trigger geometry and pull-weight options in a traditional component-style format.
Why it’s worth it
This is the budget-smarter CMC route when you want a better AR trigger but do not need the full drop-in cassette setup. The 2.5 lb options lean more precision/competition; 3.5 lb is the balanced all-around choice; 4.5 lb gives a heavier pull for users who want more margin.

Install notes
Install as a component trigger system and perform a full lower receiver function check. Confirm safety selector function, hammer engagement, trigger reset, and safe operation before live fire.
Verify before you buy
Verify your AR-15 lower uses small trigger pins and that you want a component trigger instead of a drop-in cassette trigger. They are not the same animal, even if both animals bite paper targets.
