The Battle Arms Development Enhanced Pin Set upgrades the AR-15 takedown and pivot pins with improved gripping surfaces, low-profile heads, and easier receiver disassembly. These pins are built for shooters and builders who want cleaner access during takedown without oversized heads sticking out like tactical door handles.

Fitment
- Fits AR-15 / M16 / M4 lower receivers with mil-spec .250 inch front pivot and rear takedown pin holes.
- Steel black set is for AR rifles and includes enhanced takedown pin, enhanced pivot pin, detents, and springs.
- Aluminum color sets are 7075-T6 aluminum enhanced pivot/takedown pins for AR-15 pattern lowers.
- Built for easier takedown, improved pin grip, and cleaner receiver handling.
Does NOT fit
- Do not assume fitment on AR-10 / LR-308 receivers unless the manufacturer confirms compatibility.
- Does not fit lowers with non-standard or proprietary pivot/takedown pin dimensions.
- Battle Arms notes the enhanced pivot pin is not compatible with the proprietary Radian Weapons AX556 receiver design; the takedown pin works as designed.
- Do not order by “AR style” alone — verify your receiver’s pin diameter and receiver design first.
What it does
This pin set replaces standard AR takedown and pivot pins with enhanced pins that are easier to grip and manipulate. The design gives better purchase without oversized heads, keeping the rifle cleaner and lower-drag while still making disassembly less annoying.

Install notes
- Unload and clear the firearm before installation.
- Control the detents and springs during installation; they are tiny, spring-loaded, and absolutely committed to escaping.
