AR-15 / M4 – Charging Handle – Extended Latch – ARCH-EL
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.
The Strike Industries ARCH-EL is the extended-latch version of the ARCH charging handle for .223/5.56 AR-15 builds. It uses a forged 7075 aluminum body with a larger aluminum latch surface for easier manipulation, especially when running optics, gloves, or just living with normal human hands instead of raccoon paws.
Available options are organized below under Variants. Verified finishes in this batch are Black, FDE, and Red.
Fitment
- Fits standard AR-15 / M4 pattern rifles chambered in .223/5.56
- Designed for mil-spec style AR-15 upper receiver charging handle fitment
- Extended latch configuration for increased grasping surface
- Available in Black, FDE, and Red
Does NOT fit
- Not the .308 / AR-10 version
- Not the standard-latch SI ARCH model
- Not an ambidextrous charging handle
What it does
The extended latch gives you more to grab without jumping into a full ambi setup. It is meant to make charging easier under stress, around optics, or with gloves, while still keeping the overall profile cleaner than some giant shovel-handle nonsense.
Why it’s worth it
This is the better pick for most buyers in this family. You get the same forged aluminum body and smooth polished action as the ARCH, but with a larger latch that is easier to run and still aluminum so it is easier on the receiver than steel-latch setups.
