AR-15 / M4 Picatinny – Offset Front Backup Sight – Steel Folding – MBUS Pro

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.

The Magpul MBUS Pro Offset Front is a steel backup front sight built for rifles running a primary optic where a 45-degree offset iron sight makes more sense than eating up your main sight line. This version mounts to standard Picatinny / STANAG 4694 rail sections and is meant to pair with the matching Magpul MBUS Pro Offset Rear.

This is the kind of part that makes sense on serious rifle setups, not mall-ninja nonsense. It stays low when folded, deploys fast, and gives you a durable backup aiming solution without turning your rifle into a yard sale of attachments.

Fitment

  • Fits MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails
  • Fits STANAG 4694 rails
  • Designed for AR-15 / M4 / similar rifle platforms using receiver-height rail mounting
  • Pairs with Magpul MBUS Pro Offset Rear sight

Does NOT fit

  • Not for standard inline front/rear sight setups if you specifically need a non-offset sight
  • Not intended to pair with non-offset rear sight systems

What it does

This gives you a folding 45-degree offset front sight for a backup iron system. Roll the rifle, pick up the offset irons, and keep moving if your primary optic goes down or you need a fast close-range sighting option.

Why it’s worth it

If you already run a magnified optic or a setup where offset irons actually serve a purpose, this is a clean solution that does not feel cheap or bulky. Steel construction, low folded profile, and straightforward front post adjustment make it a serious-use part instead of a gimmick.

Install notes

Mount it on a proper receiver-height rail location, verify clearance with your optic setup, and zero the sight after install. Front post adjustment is tool-less, but you still need to do the grown-man part and confirm actual zero on the rifle.

Verify before you buy

Verify you are buying the offset front sight, not the rear. Verify your rifle has the correct rail interface and that you are pairing this with the matching offset rear sight, not a standard inline rear.
