What it does
The enclosed emitter protects the diode from dust, debris, moisture, and grime better than open-emitter optics. For hard-use pistol, carbine, shotgun, or defensive setups, that matters. Dirt in the emitter window is not “character.” It is a problem.
Why it’s worth it
The FastFire E gives Burris buyers an enclosed-emitter option with long battery life, 7075 aluminum construction, a 3.5 MOA dot, and simple red/green reticle choice. Pick red for the familiar classic dot feel, green if your eye grabs green faster in bright conditions.

Verify before you buy
- Verify your pistol slide or mounting plate supports the ACRO footprint.
- Confirm screw length, plate thickness, and torque specs before installation.

- Zero the optic and confirm function with live fire before carry or duty use.
- Enclosed optics may be heavier than open emitters; test reliability on lightly tuned pistols.
⚠ Optics Compatibility Disclaimer
