The Strike Industries Aluminum Extended Magazine Plate for Glock-pattern double-stack magazines is the tougher, heavier-duty version of their EMP line. It is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, uses an aluminum locking plate, and is built for shooters who want extra capacity without the cheap, bulky brick look.
This version is black and is built for compatible OEM Glock 17 and Glock 22 pattern magazines. It adds +5 rounds for 9mm magazines and +4 rounds for .40 S&W magazines.

What it does
This extension increases magazine capacity while giving you a low-drag, no-snag profile that still looks clean on the gun. It also adds weight at the bottom of the mag for more confident reloads.
Why it’s worth it
The aluminum EMP is the more premium route over the polymer version if you want harder-use construction, sharper fit and finish, and a more planted feel during reloads.

Install notes
This aluminum EMP is intentionally designed as a tight-fit system. Strike specifically warns against overtightening the set screw, and notes installation should be done carefully because the fit can damage polymer magazine base ears if handled badly. This is not the part for caveman install work.

Verify you are using compatible OEM Glock double-stack magazines in the G17/G22 family and not a 10-round or ETS mag before ordering.
