The Faxon EXOS-533 is a slimline 9mm compensator built for Glock 43X and Glock 48 pattern pistols using a 1/2x28 threaded barrel. It is machined from 6061 aluminum, finished in black anodizing, and built around Faxon’s angled-port single-chamber EXOS design.
This is not the Glock 43 EXOS-523 comp and it is not the double-stack Glock EXOS comp family. Same brand, same general concept, different shell. That detail matters unless you enjoy feeding the return goblins.

- Does not fit double-stack Glock models such as G17, G19, G19X, G26, G34, G45, or G47.
- Does not fit large-frame Glock models such as G20, G21, G29, G30, G40, or G41.
- Do not assume compatibility with aftermarket slides, unusual barrel shoulder geometry, non-standard thread length, or altered recoil systems without checking fit first.
- Do not assume existing holsters will clear the compensator. Verify holster fit before carry use.
What It Does
The EXOS-533 redirects muzzle gas through an angled-port single-chamber design to help reduce muzzle climb and smooth out the recoil impulse. On slimline pistols, that can make fast follow-up shots feel more controlled when the full setup is tuned correctly.
Why It’s Worth It
This is a clean option for a threaded Glock 43X/48 slimline build where compact size still matters. Good part, but still a tuning part. Run it, test it, and do not assume every ammo and spring combo will behave like a trained dog. Some setups need work. Physics remains undefeated.

Install Notes
Install on a compatible 1/2x28 threaded 9mm barrel using the correct hardware and thread-locking method. After installation, verify secure attachment, barrel shoulder contact, slide clearance, recoil spring function, feeding, extraction, ejection, and lockback. As with other pistol compensators, reliability can change based on ammo, recoil spring rate, lubrication, and overall pistol setup. Test fire before relying on it.
