Glock 43X/48 – TangoDown Vickers Tactical Extended Magazine Release – Black

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS, MODEL FITMENT, MAGAZINE TYPE, AND INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS BEFORE PURCHASE.

The TangoDown Vickers Tactical Extended Magazine Release for Glock 43X and Glock 48 pistols gives slimline Glock owners a cleaner, easier magazine release without overdoing it. TangoDown built this version specifically for the 43X/48 frame, with an extended, contoured shape that helps the shooter hit the release more easily while keeping the profile practical for carry.

This black GMR-00743XBLK model is the dedicated Glock 43X/48 version. It is not the same part as the Glock 42/43 release and it is not the same part as the Gen 4/5 double-stack release. Same neighborhood, different house key.

Fitment

  • Fits Glock 43X.
  • Fits Glock 48.
  • Designed specifically for the Glock 43X / Glock 48 slimline magazine release platform.

Does NOT Fit

  • Does not fit Glock 42.
  • Does not fit Glock 43.
  • Does not fit standard double-stack Glock frames such as G17, G19, G19X, G26, G34, G45, or G47.
  • Does not fit large-frame Glock models such as G20, G21, G29, G30, G40, or G41.
  • Do not assume compatibility with aftermarket frames, modified grip frames, or non-standard magazine systems without checking fit first.
  • Not the same part as TangoDown’s Glock 43-only GMR-006 magazine release.

What It Does

This part replaces the factory magazine release with an extended, contoured version that helps the shooter drop magazines more easily without needing as much grip shift. The shape is designed to give better thumb access while helping reduce unwanted magazine release if the pistol is placed against a hard surface.

Why It’s Worth It

The 43X and 48 are carry guns, and small carry guns can punish your thumbs when controls are too short. This fixes that problem without making the release obnoxious. It is an OEM-style polymer control upgrade that improves access without turning the pistol into a snag machine.

What’s Included

One TangoDown Vickers Tactical Extended Magazine Release for Glock 43X / Glock 48 in black.

Note: Firearm, magazines, tools, and other accessories are not included.

Tools Needed

Basic Glock armorer tools are recommended for proper installation. A clean bench and a little patience beat forcing a small part like it owes you money.

Install Notes

TangoDown lists this as easy to install in minutes, but it still needs a proper function check. After installation, make sure the release moves cleanly, magazines lock in correctly, magazines release when intended, and the pistol does not drop a magazine when it should not.

Verify Before You Buy

Verify your pistol is a Glock 43X or Glock 48 before purchase. This part is not for Glock 42, Glock 43, standard-frame Glock models, large-frame Glock models, or the Gen 4/5 double-stack magazine release lane. Fitment first, ego second.
