Tools Needed
No tools are needed for extension installation because the +5 extension is pre-installed. A Shield Arms steel mag catch is still required in the pistol for proper S15 magazine use.
Install Notes
Use the correct Shield Arms steel mag catch with S15-based magazines. Before serious use, check magazine insertion, retention, drop-free behavior, feeding, slide lock, and live-fire reliability in your exact pistol. Extended mags are useful, but they still have to earn trust the old-fashioned way: testing.
