Glock Gen 5 19/23/25/32/38/44/49 – Grip Tape – Rubber/Granulate – Black

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.

TALON Grips are adhesive-backed textured grip wraps made to give compatible Gen 5 Glock pistols a more secure, controlled feel without permanently modifying the frame. This grip tape is built for Gen 5 Glock 19, 23, 25, 32, 38, 44, and 49 pistols only.

The rubber texture is the smoother, carry-friendly option for concealed carry, open holster carry, and general use. The granulate texture is more aggressive, often compared to sandpaper or skateboard tape, and makes more sense for open carry, range use, or shooters who want stronger bite in the hand.

Variants / Options

  • No Backstrap – Black Rubber
  • No Backstrap – Black Granulate
  • Medium Backstrap – Black Rubber
  • Medium Backstrap – Black Granulate

Fitment

  • Fits Gen 5 Glock 19, 23, 25, 32, 38, 44, 49
  • No Backstrap version fits the factory-smallest Gen 5 grip setup with no added backstrap installed
  • Medium Backstrap version fits Gen 5 medium backstrap and medium beavertail backstrap setups
  • Designed as a thin adhesive grip wrap, not a replacement backstrap or frame insert

Does NOT fit

  • Does not fit Glock Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, or Gen 4 pistols
  • Does not fit Glock models outside the Gen 5 19, 23, 25, 32, 38, 44, and 49 fit family unless specifically matched by TALON
  • Does not replace a factory backstrap, grip sleeve, frame insert, or permanent stippling work
  • Do not order the Medium Backstrap version if your pistol is being used with no backstrap installed

Setup Guide / Compatibility Table

Option Best Use Feel
Black Rubber Concealed carry, open holster carry, general use Smoother, less aggressive, clothing-friendly
Black Granulate Range use, open carry, stronger grip control Aggressive, rougher, stronger bite

Note: Texture choice is personal. Rubber is easier to live with daily. Granulate grips harder but can be rougher against skin, clothing, and soft hands that think recoil is a personality attack.

What it does

This grip tape adds a thin textured wrap around the pistol grip to help improve hand contact, control, and consistency. It is designed to stay in place when properly installed, but it can be removed cleanly later if you want to return the pistol to its original factory condition.

Why it’s worth it

This is one of the simplest upgrades that actually makes a difference. No frame cutting, no bulky sleeve, no permanent stipple job, and no weird gimmick trying to solve a problem it created. Just better traction where your hand meets the pistol.
