Glock Gen 5 – Ultimate Builder’s Kit – 2.5–3 lb Pull – Pivot Safety Black
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.
Timney’s Ultimate Builder’s Kit for Glock Gen 5 is a matched trigger-system upgrade built around the Alpha Competition platform, but this version uses the internal pivoting safety trigger shoe. This black kit is designed for stock Glock Gen 5 medium-frame double-stack pistols and gives the buyer a more complete fire-control package instead of a basic trigger swap with parts chosen by chaos and caffeine.
Timney rates this kit at a 2.5 to 3 lb pull weight and pairs the pivot trigger with a striker, striker spring, and connector engineered to match the system geometry. The key working parts are NP3 coated to reduce friction and clean up the feel. This version is not adjustable.
Fitment
- Fits stock Glock Gen 5 medium-frame double-stack pistols
- Compatible Gen 5 family fitment is supported for 9mm and .40 S&W stock pistols
- Built around Timney’s Alpha Competition pivot trigger system
Does NOT fit
- Does not fit Glock Gen 5 large-frame pistols
- Does not fit Gen 3 or Gen 4 Glock pistols
- Only compatible with stock Glock pistols
- Not intended for adjustable-trigger buyers
What it does
This kit upgrades the Glock Gen 5 fire-control system with matched internals designed to improve pull feel, reduce friction, and keep the trigger geometry working together as one system. Instead of only swapping the trigger shoe, the UBK adds the supporting pieces that help the whole setup run cleaner and more consistently.
Why it’s worth it
If the buyer already knows a basic trigger swap is not enough, this is the smarter route. A matched striker, spring, connector, and coated internal parts make more sense than mixing random pieces and then acting shocked when the gun gets moody.

Install notes
This is a function-critical fire-control kit, not a cosmetic part. Install it correctly, verify safe operation, and perform full function testing before live fire. Trigger work is not where hope becomes a skill.
Verify before you buy
Verify your pistol is a stock Glock Gen 5 medium-frame double-stack model and not a large-frame version. Verify you want the black non-adjustable Ultimate Builder’s Kit with internal pivoting safety before ordering.
