Rifle Sling Stud Mount – Bipod – MOE Bipod – Black / FDE
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.
The Magpul MOE Bipod is the lighter, simpler sling-stud-mounted bipod in the Magpul line. It is built for rifles using the Uncle Mike’s pattern sling swivel stud and is meant to give you a stable shooting platform without dragging a boat anchor around on the front end. This parent card combines the verified colors from your batch: Black and Flat Dark Earth.
Available options are organized below under Variants.
This is not the aluminum Magpul Bipod and not the QD sling stud model. This is the MOE Bipod built around fast sling-stud attachment, polymer legs, stainless internals, and a lighter hunting / general-use price lane.
Fitment
- Fits Uncle Mike’s pattern sling swivel studs
- Compatible with wide or narrow forends
- Also works with M1913 or M-LOK adapters that use the Uncle Mike’s sling stud pattern
Does NOT fit
- Does not directly fit M-LOK or Picatinny without a proper sling-stud adapter
- Not the Magpul Bipod – Sling Stud QD model
What it does
This gives the rifle a lightweight forward support system for prone, bench, and field-supported shooting. The spring-tensioned legs deploy quickly, and the low overall weight keeps the rifle from feeling nose-heavy like some chunkier bipods do.
Why it’s worth it
The real value here is simple: lighter than the heavier aluminum models, easier on the wallet, still stable enough to do real work. For a hunting rifle, ranch rifle, or general-purpose bolt gun with a sling stud, this is a practical bipod instead of an overbuilt status symbol. Brownells and Primary Arms are both listing it as an 8 oz sling-stud bipod with current retail clustering around the low- to mid-$70s.

Tools needed
No major shop ritual needed. Just verify your rifle has the correct sling stud interface and mount it correctly.
Install notes
Mount it securely to the sling stud, confirm the saddle seats correctly on the forend, and make sure the deployment and leg extension work cleanly before taking it out. If you are trying to bolt this to the wrong interface without an adapter, that is not product failure. That is user creativity gone wrong.
Verify before you buy
Verify your rifle uses a compatible Uncle Mike’s pattern sling swivel stud or a proper adapter that converts your M-LOK / Picatinny setup to that pattern. Verify your preferred color before ordering: Black or Flat Dark Earth.
