The Riton Optics 3 TACTIX MPRD 3 is a micro pistol red dot built around the RMSc footprint, aimed at compact and subcompact pistol setups that use that mounting pattern. It gives you three reticle choices, motion-activated wake-up, side-loading battery access, and a lightweight body that makes sense on smaller carry-oriented pistols.
This is not the full-size PRD model. This is the MPRD, the smaller RMSc-footprint optic. Buy the wrong footprint and you’ll have an expensive little paperweight with a logo on it.

What it does
This optic gives you a faster visual aiming point than irons alone and offers reticle flexibility depending on how you like to pick up the dot. On smaller pistols, footprint and weight matter, and this model is built for that lane.
Why it’s worth it
The value is in footprint, battery access, and feature set. Side-loading battery access means you don’t have to yank the optic just to change a battery, and the RMSc footprint keeps it relevant for slim and compact pistol slides.

Tools needed
Proper driver bits and the correct screws or plate for your slide cut. Optic mounting is a torque-spec job, not a “good-n-tight” job.

Verify screw length, footprint match, and plate compatibility before installation. Re-zero after mounting and confirm function before carry use.
Verify before you buy
Verify your slide or plate uses the RMSc footprint. If your setup is RMR cut, this is the wrong optic unless you are using a proper adapter solution.
