Shooting Rest – Steady Rest NXT – Adjustable Platform
The Caldwell Steady Rest NXT is an adjustable shooting rest made for sighting in rifles, pistols, and patterning shotguns. The 3-piece design can be used in one-piece or two-piece configurations, giving it more flexibility across different firearm lengths.
Fitment
- Works with rifles.
- Works with pistols.
- Works with shotguns for patterning.
- Adjustable design supports different firearm lengths.
What it does
This rest gives the firearm a steadier shooting platform for sight-in work, pattern testing, and bench practice. The front and rear supports use non-marring material to help protect the firearm finish while staying firm enough for useful support.
Why it’s worth it
This is straightforward range gear for getting work done. It will not make a bad shooter magically good, but it does remove some wobble from the equation — and that is already half the battle.
