Thread Adapter – Black Oxide – Suppressor/Muzzle Device Conversion
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.
BANISH Thread Adapters are black oxide adapters used to convert muzzle thread patterns for compatible muzzle devices or suppressor setups. This is one of those parts where “close enough” is how baffle strikes are born, so verify thread direction, shoulder, bore alignment, and suppressor compatibility before getting brave. Available options are organized below under Variants.
Variants / Options
- 5/8x24 to 1/2x28
- 1/2x28 to 5/8x24
Fitment
- 5/8x24 to 1/2x28 version adapts a 5/8x24 muzzle thread to accept 1/2x28-threaded compatible devices.
- 1/2x28 to 5/8x24 version adapts a 1/2x28 muzzle thread to accept 5/8x24-threaded compatible devices.
- Black oxide finish
- Verify bore diameter, thread pitch, shoulder geometry, suppressor rating, and alignment before live fire.
Does NOT fit
- Does not fix incorrect bore alignment.
- Does not make an unrated suppressor safe for the wrong caliber or pressure.
- Does not replace proper suppressor alignment rod checks and manufacturer compatibility rules.
What it does
This adapter lets a compatible barrel/muzzle device combination use a different thread pitch. That can be useful for suppressor hosts, muzzle devices, and conversion setups—but only when the full system is mechanically compatible and properly aligned.

⚠ Install & Compatibility Disclaimer
Thread adapters and suppressor-related parts must be installed, torqued, and checked properly. Improper thread matching, shoulder engagement, bore alignment, or suppressor use can cause firearm damage, suppressor damage, baffle strikes, injury, or death. The buyer is responsible for verifying all compatibility, alignment, installation, and legal requirements before use.
