Glock 43 – 417C Compensator – 1/2x28 Thread

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK DETAILS AND FITMENT BEFORE PURCHASE.

The Agency Arms 417C Compensator is a slimline Glock-compatible muzzle device built to help reduce muzzle rise and keep the pistol flatter during faster strings of fire. This version is built around a standard 1/2x28 threaded barrel setup and is available in Single Port or Dual Port configuration.

Available options are organized below under Variants. The Single Port version uses one vertical port, while the Dual Port version uses two vertical ports and two side-venting ports. Same family, different gas control. Choose based on how much compensation you want and how much length you are willing to hang off the front.

Fitment

  • Designed for slimline Glock platforms.
  • Agency Arms currently lists the 417C family as compatible with Glock 43, Glock 43X, and Glock 48 platforms.
  • Distributor line for these specific SKUs identifies Glock 43 fitment.
  • Thread pitch: 1/2x28.
  • Agency Arms states optimal barrel protrusion should measure 0.637 inches ± 0.005 inches.

Does NOT fit

  • Does not fit non-threaded barrels.
  • Does not fit barrels with a thread pitch other than 1/2x28.
  • Does not fit standard double-stack Glock pistols like Glock 17, Glock 19, Glock 19X, Glock 34, or Glock 45.
  • Does not fit properly if barrel protrusion is outside the required range.

What it does

The 417C redirects gas upward through the port system to help fight muzzle rise. The goal is a flatter-shooting pistol, faster sight tracking, and better control during follow-up shots when the pistol, threaded barrel, recoil spring, and ammo all play nice together.

Why it’s worth it

Small pistols are snappy little goblins. A properly installed compensator can help tame that movement and make the gun feel more settled under recoil. This is not magic, though. Ammo, spring weight, barrel fit, and installation all matter. Build it right or don’t build it at all.

Tools needed

Basic install tools may be needed. Thread locker and proper alignment checks are strongly recommended. Do not just crank it on there like you’re tightening a fence post.

Install notes

Install on an unloaded firearm only. Confirm barrel thread pitch, barrel protrusion, and compensator alignment before firing. After install, test the pistol with your carry/range ammo and recoil spring setup. Compensated pistols can become ammo-sensitive, especially with lighter loads.

Verify before you buy

Verify your exact Glock model, threaded barrel thread pitch, and barrel protrusion before purchase. The required thread pitch is 1/2x28, and Agency Arms lists optimal barrel protrusion at 0.637 inches ± 0.005 inches.
