Real Avid Armorer’s Master Hammer & Accu-Punch 11-Piece Standard Pin Punch Set (Includes Case)

This set is for clean, controlled pin work—without beating up your parts like a caveman. You’re getting a 22 oz forged armorer hammer with a full-length tang for better balance and consistent strikes, plus an 11-piece standard pin punch set covering most common firearm pin sizes. Add in the integrated magnetic pin starter system and you’ve got a setup that makes assembly and disassembly faster, cleaner, and way less frustrating.

What it’s for:

  • Driving out and reinstalling common firearm pins during maintenance and upgrades
  • Detail work where you need controlled strikes (triggers, safeties, small parts, sights, and general pin-driven components)
  • Reducing marring and “oops marks” by matching the right hammer head to the job
  • Speeding up pin placement with the magnetic starter so tiny pins stop launching into orbit

What’s included:

  • Armorer’s Master Hammer (22 oz forged hammer with full-length tang for consistent, controlled force)
  • 5 interchangeable hammer heads:
    • Soft-blow
    • Steel
    • Nylon
    • Brass
    • Rubber
  • Integrated magnetic pin starter system (helps hold and start small pins during assembly)
  • Accu-Punch 11-piece standard pin punch set:
    • 11 nickel-plated hardened steel punches
    • Standard size range from 1/16" to 9/32"
    • Hex-shaped handles with rubber O-rings for grip and control
  • Storage case (keeps the set organized and protected)

Fitment

  • Universal use: built for firearm pin work using standard punch sizes 1/16"–9/32".

Does NOT fit

  • Pins outside the 1/16"–9/32" range
  • Jobs that specifically require roll-pin punches (standard punches can work in a pinch, but roll pins are happiest with roll-pin punches)

Tools needed

  • Bench block (highly recommended for clean pin driving and to avoid bending parts)
  • Eye protection (pins have a sense of humor)
  • Optional: painter’s tape to protect finishes near the work area
  • Optional: small vise or padded jaws for stable support during stubborn pin work

Install notes

  • Choose the right head: use nylon/rubber/soft-blow for delicate work and steel/brass when you need more authority.
  • Support the work: back the part with a bench block so you’re driving the pin out—not flexing the receiver.
  • Start straight: align the punch perfectly before striking. Crooked punches slip and leave scars.
  • Short, controlled taps win: if you’re swinging hard, you’re risking damage. Add penetrating oil and patience before brute force.
  • Use the magnetic starter: it helps hold small pins in place so you can start them clean without three hands.
