Real Avid — Standard Pin Punch Set (11-Piece) (Accu-Punch)

This is a purpose-built standard pin punch set for firearm disassembly, assembly, and upgrades—built to give you control instead of slips. The punches are hardened steel with nickel plating for corrosion resistance, with hex-shaped handles plus rubber O-rings so your hands don’t slide when you’re trying to start a stubborn pin straight.

Fitment

  • Made for common firearm solid/standard pins used in disassembly and assembly tasks.
  • Included punch sizes: (2) 1/16", 5/64", 3/32", 1/8", 9/64", 5/32", 3/16", 7/32", 1/4", 9/32".
  • Organized, labeled storage case helps you grab the correct size fast.

Does NOT fit

  • Not the best choice for roll pins (hollow pins). For roll pins, use roll-pin punches so the punch stays centered and doesn’t mushroom the pin.
  • Not a replacement for heavy-duty build tools (vise blocks, torque wrenches, armorer’s wrench, etc.). This is for pin driving and detail work.

Tools needed

  • Small gunsmith hammer (nylon/brass faces recommended)
  • Bench block (recommended, for proper support)
  • Painter’s tape (optional, helps protect nearby finishes)

Install notes

  • Support the part: most bent pins and scratches come from bad support, not the punch set. Use a bench block and keep everything stable.
  • Use the biggest punch that fits: more contact area = less chance of slipping off the pin and kissing your finish.
  • Start gentle, finish firm: light taps to seat and align, then controlled strikes to move the pin.
  • Know the pin type: if you’re fighting a roll pin with a standard punch, you’re setting yourself up for pain—swap to roll-pin punches.

⚠ Install & Compatibility Disclaimer: Always confirm the firearm is unloaded before any work. Use proper support and correct punch sizing to prevent damage. After reassembly, perform a full function/safety check. If you’re unsure, use a qualified armorer/gunsmith.

⚠ Trademark & Compatibility Disclaimer: Brand and model names are used only to describe compatibility. Pin sizes and pin types vary by firearm—verify whether your application uses standard pins vs roll pins before starting.
