The Magpul AFG2 gives you the same angled fore grip concept as the original AFG, but in a shorter, slimmer body that takes up less Picatinny rail space. This parent card combines the verified colors from your batch: Black and Flat Dark Earth.

The whole point of the AFG2 is getting that angled support-hand position without eating up as much room on the handguard. If rail space is tighter or the shooter wants a trimmer setup, this is usually the smarter move over the original AFG1.
Fitment
- Fits standard MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails
- Works on rifles with compatible Picatinny handguards or rail sections
- Compact profile leaves more room for lights, switches, and covers than the original AFG1
Does NOT fit
- Does not fit direct M-LOK without an added rail section
- Does not fit KeyMod-only setups without the correct adapter
What it does
This gives the shooter a slimmer angled grip surface that helps with support-hand consistency, recoil control, and target transitions while taking up less room than the original AFG.
Why it’s worth it
If the shooter likes the AFG concept but wants a more compact front-end setup, the AFG2 is the better answer. It preserves rail space, still improves control, and makes more sense on tighter modern handguard layouts.
