The IronKells Armory Alpha Pack Flat-Wire Recoil Springs 3 Pack is built for Gen 5 full-size Glock setups that need a smarter way to tune recoil feel, slide speed, and cycling behavior. This pack gives you three flat-wire spring weights so you can test what your pistol actually likes instead of guessing and hoping the gun has mercy.
Whether you are cleaning up a range setup, dialing in a specific ammo load, or trying to smooth out how the pistol tracks, recoil spring tuning gives you control over one of the biggest moving pieces in the system. These springs are designed for compatible flat-wire guide rod systems, including captured or non-captured / uncaptured guide rods built for this spring profile and diameter. Small part. Big job. Spring Weight Guide
| 11 lb | Better suited for softer loads or competition-oriented tuning where faster slide movement is desired. |
| 13 lb | A smart starting point for many standard 115gr to 124gr range ammo setups. |
| 15 lb | May make more sense for hotter loads or shooters looking for a more controlled recoil impulse. |
Note: Recoil tuning depends on the full setup, including ammo pressure, slide mass, optic weight, guide rod type, grip, lubrication, and break-in. Live-fire testing is mandatory.
Guide Rod Compatibility
These are flat-wire recoil springs. They are designed for compatible Glock 17/34 Gen 5 full-size guide rod systems that accept this flat-wire spring profile and diameter.
These springs may be used with compatible captured guide rod assemblies or compatible non-captured / uncaptured guide rods, but the guide rod shaft, spring seat, end cap, and retaining cap must match the spring profile. Flat-wire and round-wire recoil springs are not automatically interchangeable.
What It Does
